Yes I have. I actually made confession while in the hospital for a minor ailment the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I’ve been diligent about Mass attendance since. I’ve also been losing some very bad habits, some slower than others, though I am honestly trying my best. The one’s that are hardest to lose are the lapses of attention to where my thoughts are heading. They head to some very bad neighborhoods indeed. I’m getting better about pulling myself out of the thought gutter as time goes by. I made confession again on Saturday and my wife came with me. I felt great afterwards, and I truly do have a firm purpose of amendment. I know God loves me and wants me back, but the devil keeps telling me God is using me to get my wife and her mother back. I promise, that’s my last bad joke of the year. DanGood story Dan. Have you capped off your return with confession? It is so rejuvenating!
