Where are the Anglican and other Protestant forums online that even come close to this one?

I come on this forum frequently and love the diversity of opinions and respect that I see day to day. I love reading Catholic theology and opinions that surround it. I often wonder, as a former Anglican, where are the forums in Anglicanism and Lutheranism, etc. that are similar to this forum? I actually would like to read their forums as many protestants and people of other faiths come here and read our forum.

From an Anglican perspective I haven’t seen anything quite like this forum, but you might like to take a look at christianforums.com, at the section titled “Scripture, Tradition, Reason.”

If you are curious about Baptist beliefs and culture, check out www.baptistboard.com. The quality of discussion and debate is very high, maybe even higher than this board, and that’s saying a lot.

Thank you for that link, Zenas.

May I display my sheer ignorance, by asking a question?
Are some Baptists considered Evangelicals?

I don’t think that I understand what ‘Evangelical’ indicates.
Does it note a given Church affliliation, or does it describe the
beliefs of a given Christian, within a denomination?

Most Baptists are considered evangelicals, except the minority who are squarely in the fundamentalist camp. They, and other protestants who consider Matthew 28:18-20 as Christ’s most important command to us, believe evangelism is the most important work of the church. Thus, the term “evangelical.” In general, I think you will find Baptists, Pentacostals, Nazarenes, Churches of Christ, and many of the newer “nondenominationals” to be generally categorized as evangelicals.
