Well i know that the SBC president had a statement out the very next day after the story broke. Many leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention were quick to call this what it is; murder and organ harvesting. Many local preachers have done the same in the local media. But my Bishop? Not so much. And my parish priest today? Crickets!
Someone once said all evil needs to advance is for good men to do nothing. Well, many good men are not speaking out. We need Bishops, Priests, Pastors and laity in the streets demanding this evil is stopped!

Well-stated, Pulvis!! All Christians need to be stepping out and sharing in this outrage! It’s not the time to point fingers but to align ourselves and come together.

God bless!

Planned Parenthood may protest that they aren’t in it for the money, but their StemExpress partner sure looks like they are:

Stem Express Product Category-Fetal Liver

To the OP, I browsed the websites for the ELCA & Episcopal churches and didn’t see any statement concerning the recent video. The silence is deafening.

I live in the south in a close knit community where approximately 80 percent of all the residents attend one Christian church or another regularly and we all come together to pray for various causes, especially world day of prayer.
Last year, in advance of the 40 days for life program leading up to the annual march in D.C, I personally spoke with all the protestant ministers about the issue and asked them if I could email them the information about 40 Days for Life so they could share it with their church members. Each one agreed and gave me their email address so I could send all the info. Guess how many actually even mentioned it in their churches? NONE! I was astounded to realize just how politically correct our churches have become and how fearful they are to offend someone or cause even one member to leave their church!
Most protestant ministers must win a popularity contest in order to keep their position. Offend the wrong people and you will be packing your suitcase very quickly.
Consciences are in a coma. Prayer and fasting are needed. Words from the faithful just aren’t going to cut it.

The answer to this question is they are ignoring the slaughter of the unborn children. It sickens me that they d do that. 😦
