I have been trying to find an icon of Sts. Joachim and Anne approximately 8x10 in size. In Eastern orthodoxy it is called the Conception of the Theotokos. I’m not sure it’s called the same thing in Catholicism. This particular icon has Sts. Joashim and Anne embracing before their marriage bed. I have only been able to find it on one website, and it is small. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

A large selection of icons of this type - and in many sizes can be found through -

melkite.org/shop.htm

Select “Icons” at the top of the page - then do a search for Joachim.

Two nice ones are -

Sts. Joachim and Anna - S213
SS Joachim and Anna (Detail of CT920) (16th c.) - CS1333

I’d check out St. Isaac Skete. Just do a google search. 👍

There’s one made from Monastery Icons.

monasteryicons.com/cgi-bin/hazel.cgi?action=DETAIL&item=725&template=popup_temp.html

The one I linked you to is not exactly what you mentioned, but it depicts St. Ann and Joachim with the Blessed Mother.
Apparently the icons sold by monasteryicons.com are owned and sold by a separatist Hindu ashram. I have emailed them asking what monastery or church their profits support, but have never been answered. This has been investigated and discussed on this forum, so I would advise against buying from them.

Can I just say, totally off topic, I love this icon! 👍 I found two copies of a version close to this one on paper about 3"X4" which I laminated and use as bookmarks.

Apart from the stories about monasteryicons.com I find their “icons” very strange. What tradition, other than “modern” would they be considered? I should have asked when I took the Holy icons classes in June. The faces in their “icons” totally lack the Greek grammar I prefer.

There is a wonderful version of this icon available at this link:

catholicposters.com

At the top of the page, highlight “Wood Items,” then “Plaques”… go to page #5 (I believe) of the “Plaques” section and it should be about the third icon down.

This particular icon was written by Fr. Thomas Loya, pastor of Annunciation of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Parish in Homer Glen, Illinois. The original icon from which the copies available at the above website are reproduced was written by Fr. Loya (nearly life-size) directly onto the wall of his parish church.

Search for icons by the company called SOFRINO on EBay.

Sofrino is not exactly or not simply a company. This an undertaking of Russian Orthodox church originally allowed by communist government in 1943. It is now an art workshop of the highest quality making all ecclesiastical neccesities. Stalin approved allow church to have site for producing of icons for church usage in 1949. But not until 1980 was such an actual workshop constructed. . Patriarch Pimen chose a town for this undertaking of workshop halfway betwen Moskow and Troitsa-Lavra (Zagorsk). He chose town of Sofrino. So this undertaking is now called Sofrino after that town where it has been located for 30 years. This undertaking is making icons, carvings, thrones, sacrifce tables, analogions but is now most famous for its metal and jewlry working. So this has made the mark SOFRINO the most famous for ecclesiastical cups, small spoons, lances, mitras, etc. Below is a cup of metal , jewels and enamel from Sofrino:
