Where can I find documentation regarding receiving Communion more than once per day?

I know that it is permissible to receive the Eucharist more than once on a Sunday if you are attending a wedding or other celebration of the Liturgy in addition to Sunday Mass, but I cannot find clarification on this matter in the Catechism or in other searches I have attempted on line. Thank you.
