Actually the Psalter takes you through 150 Psalms in four weeks. Each of the “hours” takes less than 20 minutes, in reality, and lay people who take up the discipline are only required to do two “hours” a day - one in the morning, and one in the evening.

Oh no, I was referring to how they prayed the Psalter back in like the 200s Ad and actually todays liturgy of the Hours doesn’t use all 150 Psalms, Pope Paul IV didn’t want to use them all, as you can read in the Liturgy of the Hour’s General Instructions

1. “Three psalms (58, 83, and 109) have been omitted from the psalter cycle because of their curses; in the same way, some verses have been omitted from certain psalms, as noted at the head of each. The reason for the omission is a certain psychological difficulty, even though the psalms of imprecation are in fact used as prayer in the New Testament, for example, Rv 6:10, and in no sense to encourage the use of curses.”
