Any idea where can i get this version that Dr.Brad is holding? I did love to give my non catholic friends a surprise when they are over.

It’s not a Catholic Bible. Why are you asking on this forum?

Because i want to show them where they got their protestant bible from. Interesting hostility.

It’s my understanding that it’s a poor translation of scripture.

If you don’t mind an online version, this is an exact reprint of the original King James Version:

I’m not so sure about physical versions. I saw one that looked promising, but then I looked at the reviews and some people complained it left out the Apocrypha section.

i think you got ahead of yourself and replied in gag reflex thinking i was a protestant rather than translation issues of scripture.

Thanks GKMotley, will test on some Anglicans and report the outcome hahahah.

Thank you for taking the time to do those pictures. I was studying very deeply into alchemy and one of the greatest art maker of that subject was Michael Maier, that fascinated me was that his art looked very much like the art in the KJV. Any idea if it was the common art style for that era?

perhaps you could help me understand why you are asking me why i am asking on this forum?

That is not what I asked. I asked why are you asking where you can get a KJ version on this forum. No hostility, just seems strange.

that clears it up. thank you and sorry for being critical. I was intentionally trying to drive you up a wall after the post.

I don’t know why you would want to do that. You wouldn’t be able to with me anyway. At 64 years old, I’m pretty good at controlling my emotions these days. A few years ago maybe.

It is one of the most beautiful pieces of English ever composed. But there are some serious and insidious errors deliberately designed to undermine Catholic teaching
