Google translate could manage the first sentence of that, down to “farance bekhanid”, but no further. Did you write your email in French?

Actually, I just checked Google Translate, and it seems like the detected language is Gujarti. Here is the translation I got:

I put in just the first sentence, and Google Translate asked, “Did you mean … … ?”, followed by what I assume can only be the same sentence in the Persian (Arabic?) alphabet (link below). Click on that, and it will then translate the sentence into English.

I suspect that the priest wrote his reply in either English or French, but the Revolutionary Guards who were reading his emails over his shoulder wanted to see it translated into Farsi, and then forwarded that translation to you.
