Matt. 17:22: As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.
Matt 20:18: “See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death
John 11:25: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.
Matt 26:28: for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Luke 24:47: and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Of course, it is mainly the didactic epistles which teach us the message of the gospel and all that that entails.
