Where did Meister Eckhart cross the line?

I have read a bit of M. Eckhart because I feel attracted to mystical works (St. John if the Cross, Teresa of Avila). I understand that he is considered a heretic. I am just wondering where he crossed the line. So far everything seems in the mystical tradition as does his defense.I have the Harper and Row 1941 edition translated by Raymond B.
