Where did the gentiles go in the time of the old testament go? Hell? Limbo?
12 All who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. 14 When Gentiles who have not the law do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them 16 on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus. Rom 2Where did the gentiles go in the time of the old testament go? Hell? Limbo?
Not…In the time of the Old Testament the two places you could go after death were hell and limbo
You are wrong. As the gates of Heaven were closed to EVERYONE before the death and resurrection of Christ there was only Hell and Limbo of the Fathers. Not…
I’m guessing you want to say “only Hades”…?Wrong again
“Limbo of the Fathers” (or “the bosom of Abraham”) might be a better way to put it, so that folks don’t think you’re talking about the theological conjecture of “Limbo” (of the infants)…In the time of the Old Testament the two places you could go after death were hell and limbo.
True. I left it at “limbo” because the context should have excluded the limbo of infants, but then again you never know the kinds of ideas some people might come up with…“Limbo of the Fathers” (or “the bosom of Abraham”) might be a better way to put it, so that folks don’t think you’re talking about the theological conjecture of “Limbo” (of the infants)…
Are you only capable of meaningless one-liners or would you care to explain why you are at odds with Church teaching?Wrong again
Why is every disagreement with you seen as being at odds with Church teaching? Are you only capable of meaningless one-liners or would you care to explain why you are at odds with Church teaching?
