I’m pretty sure that if you checked the majority of prayers in the Catholic Church you would find just about every word used ‘in the Bible’. They just might not be right next to each other.
I’m also curious about a lot of the people (mainly, though not always, not Catholic) who ‘pray in tongues’. None of the words in those prayers can be proven to be ‘word for word from the Bible. Also a lot of the Praise Jesus, Amen brother, pray it loud etc. prayers at many revival type meetings aren’t found ‘word for word from the Bible’ either.
But the mention of the canon (one n) puzzles me because, as I said, the Nicene Creed, the Apostles Creed. . .they all are used in the ‘official’ and ‘nondenom’ protestant churches too.
And furthermore, the canon of the BIBLE was put together under the authority of the Catholic Church 350 years after Christ’s death and Resurrection. So the entire Bible itself as we know it resulted from a canon from the Catholic Church.
