Where do various non-Catholics derive their infallible Bible?

For example, there are the “King James Only” Christians - where do they derive the belief that only the 39 books should be in the Old Testament, instead of, say, the Catholic’s Old Testament with 46 books? Do they recognize the Anglican Church to be infallible, or only the 39 Articles of Religion, or only Article 6?

But not only the “King James Only” Christians, but every other Protestant denomination - from where do they believe this infallible Bible comes? Are they willing to accept the infallibility of the ancient Catholic Church? At which council do they become schismatics? Or is there some other mechanism they use to believe their own particular Bible is infallible?

Hi Jean Marie,

Here is a site that pretty much summarizes bible inerrancy as defended by Protestants.

mb-soft.com/believe/text/inerranc.htm

You will see that not one argument holds water. Non-Catholics just accept the Bible, because otherwise, their whole religion falls apart.

Once you reject the authority of the Church, nothing holds water.
