Hi, I am confused. I’m an altar server, however I am conflicted when I pass between the altar and tabernacle. Where am I going to bow?

The tabernacle is behind the altar.

Well, Where is the Tabernacle placed? Because when I go into the church, the Tabernacle is behind the altar.

Okay, so you said you’re an altar server right? You’re probably around a priest a lot, do ask him, he probably knows

I’ve actually wondered this myself, whenever I serve, I genuflect facing the Tabernacle, and now facing the altar.

We should ask a priest…

Before and after Mass, your attention goes to the tabernacle. During Mass, the rubrics specify that a server will only genuflect toward the tabernacle during the procession; the rest of the time, you bow to the altar, and for all of the above, only if your hands are empty.

The chaos caused by Vatican 2 council made a mass totally not recognizable to any catholic prior to 1962.
If the OF Mass is totally unrecognizable pre-1962, then wouldn’t that also mean the consecration would be totally unrecognizable? And if the consecration is unrecognizable, are you saying then it’s invalid?

Well hopefully you are an altar boy and use that title rather than server.
No reason to hope that at all, since the question and terminology are perfectly acceptable if the OP is a girl.
Also a tabernacle must be visible to parishioners upon the altar. Not set of to a side chapel nor hidden behind the altar.
That’s not true.
The chaos caused by Vatican 2 council made a mass totally not recognizable to any catholic prior to 1962. A heretical act forbidden by the church but ignored and today we are suffering the consequences.
Are you suggesting Masses are heretical? Or a valid council of the Church? In either case, that is completely wrong.
