Pretty much everybody knows by now that CAF is shutting down year end. I’ve seen some posts here & there about CAF “regulars” migrating to other forums. Difficult to get a concensus view.

I’ve been most active on CAF in the Sacred Scripture sub-forum, since it is my forte. To those regular posters in the SS sub-forum, where do you plan on going in order to continue discussion/debate?

Looking for suggestions/ideas.

Working list of alternative Catholic forums and similar media Evangelization
Looking around I have found an active and well populated site called Cathinfo.com However, this advertises itself as a Traditional Catholic Forum A message board for SSPX, Resistance and other Traditional Catholics to discuss news and matters pertaining to the Catholic Faith.

But ‘here’ isn’t going to be ‘here’ anymore after the end of the year.

I’m probably just going to go hang out at Christianity Haven for awhile.

I think I’m going to take a break from Catholic forums in general for the time being, maybe get back to my blog. If I get the itch year(s) from now I’ll look around.

Some of those suggested sites…yikes
The beginning of the thread has the CAF type (i.e. not quasi-sedevacantist) forums.

I would like to begin keeping a list of alternative Catholic forums to replace this one due to the impending shutdown of CAF on December 31, 2020. There are no forums that are near substitutes for CAF in terms of the size or volume of posts. This is actually a good thing IMHO. Thus, what follows is a list of smaller forums for your consideration. Take some time to consider supporting one or more of them. Please ensure that additions to this list are in communion with the Holy See. There are m…

There is many good forums on Reddit.com
r/Catholicism
r/Roman_Catholics
r/EasternCatholic
r/OrthodoxChristianity
r/Christianity
r/AcademicBiblical
r/TraditionalCatholics
r/DivineOffice

There is an Irish forum called Boards.ie that has a Christian subforum, could do with livening up
https://touch.boards.ie/forum/333

Is there a list anywhere on CAF of Christian forums, without having to wade through lots of discussions?

No, no one made a “list” so to speak. Most people are here for the discussions, so…they don’t speak in lists.

The only issues with that place Adam is that it has security issues and the Amin is missing in action. I guess somebody is trying to gain control of the forum but I don’t know if they’ll be successful.

Consider leaving your contact information with someone in case you want to try another board. The one I’m on is invitation only. Much more secure and peaceful.
