I don’t know if this has been done before, but I thought it might be interesting to compare churches where we all worship, and their websites.

It’s always interesting to see where other people worship and get a feel for how their parish is.

Here’s mine:

I’d be interested to see others!

I worship God everywhere in everything I do (I hope and I try to do so at least).

My parish is St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish , Leawood KS, USA.

URL: stmichaelcp.org/
It is a new parish, with only the school built, using the gym for Masses right now until the Church is built.

Wow, from the picture that looks like it’s going be quite a place! I’d love to see pictures when the church is finished! I love when the church is so close to the catholic school. It seems something that’s not so commonplace these days

The parish I belong to (where I can be found most Sunday mornings, attend Legion meeting, help with the free cafe):

And the other parish I belong to (that I’ve belonged to ever since I was a college kid, where I sang soprano in my healthier days, etc., etc.):

My parish is Our Lady of Good Counsel, in Darien, New York.

It is quite small, seating capacity 110. Five people in the in sanctuary is crowded, the kneelers are not attached to the pews. The tabernacle is smack dab in the middle of the back wall, in the sanctuary (where it should be). We have 300 registered families, although mabey 150 are active.

It is a quaint parish and most everyone knows each other, I really like my parish a lot.

How cool is that we vacationed in Harrisville for years. My parents moved to Black River and up until last year (when my mother died) my parents sang in the choir sometimes at St. Annes.
Love your church!!

St. Joseph’s Lake Orion, The Benedictine Monastery, The Dominican Chapel or if all else fails Columbiere.

When I have lots of time on Sunday I would love to go to Assumption Grotto in Detroit.

Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer Glen, IL.

Check out the “Photos” section. All of the iconography in the Church is being done by our pastor.
