Lord, these are challenging and troubling times for so many people looking for secure employment. I ask that you bless our dear friend, the phoenix, and all those that are searching, with a permanent full time job that will address her needs. Give her continued strength and courage. Reward her patience and faithfulness as soon as possible, if it Your will. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

UPDATE:

Am still waiting to hear back from a place I interviewed at last week for their final decision about a full-time job that would be a great match. While I know the Lord is most likely trying to teach me trust and patience through this whole adventurous experience, any prayer you can say will really help, because it seems like this whole thing is a tremendous spiritual battle has just been going on for quite awhile now. Having taken a stand for pro-life some years back continues to affect my job search ability and is a real challenge. My gratitude to the Lord for bringing me this far is immense, and I now hope for this good job opportunity, or for another opportunity according to God’s Will, to turn into a reality.

Also, thank you SO MUCH to everyone who is praying. Your prayers are very comforting and really helpful during this time. I’ve done the best I can do and now my situation basically depends on what others say about me. Now it’s a matter of waiting over this Easter weekend and meanwhile having to travel and face family with my future still up in the air … not an easy thing. This is another part of the spiritual battle.

Please know that all you Prayer Warriors are gratefully remembered in my prayers as well.

UPDATE:

Thank you so much for your prayers the past few days.

The visit home for Easter was indeed filled with spiritual battles, the saddest one having to do with attendance at Easter Mass. I attended Mass alone. In that sort of family environment you can imagine that Easter dinner later that day was rather challenging to get through. Thanks to your prayers, the family gathering went better than it could have.

Am still waiting to hear back about the job opportunity, had really hoped to find out something today. Once again I feel your prayers help me to have patience during an intensely stressful time.

May God bless you all for your kindness to me.
