Dear St. Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my heart and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help us to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.

Employment Prayer 

Mary our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, you once experienced hardships and difficulties in getting the necessities of life. Look kindly on me now as I face the same difficulties. Help me to find suitable employment. Through my work I want to meet my physical needs and to grow spiritually. Help me find a job that lets me provide for myself and for those who depend on me. I trust you, Immaculate Mother, to hear my prayers and intercede for me. I will share your goodness with others that they may know your power with God and give him honor and glory. Amen.

Good News — I’ve just started a new technical writing job that seems like a real good fit for my interests and abilities! :extrahappy:

I am SO GRATEFUL to each and every one of you awesome Prayer Warriors here
who helped me in my time of need. The stress of all this has been so intense that
I am still feeling the effects physically, and I know that your prayers have very much
helped carry me through my first week, when I’ve really needed extra help. So every
single prayer said here is HUGELY APPRECIATED and has definitely made my life
better than it otherwise would have been.

Please know that I will be sure to write down all of your names on a prayer list to take with me this Sunday (tomorrow) to my weekly hour of adoration in the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at my parish, so I can say a prayer of thanksgiving and include you.

We thank you O Lord, for blessing our friend the phoenix with a new job! I pray now for her new employment to continue to be a good fit for her so that she does not have to go through this waiting ever again. Bless your faithful daughter the phoenix with peace and allow her to relax and enjoy this new feeling of wholeness. We thank you and adore You, O Lord!

Congratulations and I’m so happy to hear you were able to find a career that meets all of your needs.

I will continue to pray for you and your colleagues at work. As well as anyone who is in similar circumstances.
