One man’s simple (Gothic) somehow turned into unadorned ‘modern’. One man’s Gothic revival vestments (austere in the classical sense) became tie-dye and burlap.
One can hope that we will see more ‘evening out’ as the younger priests seem to be seeking out a clean and restrained look; not the 70s hip rainbow stole nor yet the cappa magna or Rococco.
