Where does the practice of offering 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and 1 Glory Be come from?

I’m still learning a lot about our Faith and was just wondering: how did the practice of offering Our Fathers, Hail Mary’s, and Glory Be’s come about? Are there any Early Church Father or saints’ writings about it? Also, what is the significance of attaching such prayers to our intentions? Is it to remind us of our dependence on the Father, on Mary and the Trinity, to give glory and honor to them, something else…? I would be interested to know more about this, if possible!

Those 3 are just the standard Catholic prayers, I use them when I pray for someone or ask for intercession from a saint.
