Where does the soul exist in the human person?

If our immortal souls are our embodiment for life, where in the body does it exist? (In the Spiritual, not scientific sense). If someone were to have a surgery where there head switched bodies with another living person, whose soul would be in which body? Are our souls inside our heads or all around our bodies?

Hi,

Since the soul is the body’s life principle, it enlivens the whole body. Whatever part of the body is alive, the soul is there.
