Matthew 7:15-21****

***15 **9 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. *
***16 ******By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? ***
***17 ******Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit. ***
***18 ******A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. ***
***19 ******Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. ***
***20 ******So by their fruits you will know them. ***
***21 *****"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, 10 but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. **

Besides the Catholic Church, which is apposed to Human Cloning, are there any other Christian denominations who have an official position, one way or the other, on Human Cloning?

Anytime humans try to play God is wrong. Whether that by euthanasia (sp?), abortion, killing someone, cloning, etc. Only God can create life, and cloning a human is playing with fire, a very hot hot fire. You shoudl check out the movie, “The Island” It has to do wtih cloning and such…very interesting movie.

Human Cloning…

That’s a nightmere. I hate to say this but… You can pass all the laws in the world against it and and have all the moral indignation you can muster against it, but the fact is…nothing can stop it from happening and you can be absolutely sure of that. Athiestic social engineers value science over faith and to them that is an absolute. THEY WILL DO IT, IF THEY HAVEN’T ALREADY.

Consider this… if they can clone a sheep… a horse, a cat and a cow, anything mammal… than guess what… they can clone a “one of us” too. And… if they can… they will.

You know how…??? They will do it clandestinely … under cover.

Think about that. Who’s to say that they haven’t done so already…??? Hummm…??? Comment. anybody…?

I am for real here… don’t laugh this off…

Can you suggest to me anything in scripture that might suggest that the “Anti-Crist” could be a clone…?

Can you say “sign of the times”…???

Imagine if some socialist anthrpoplogist finds a way to dig up a sample of King Nebuchadnezzar’s DNA and they clone up a new copy of him…???

It sounds like science fiction… but you know what…??? it makes my skin crawl.

Hi All,

Why clone a human? Is it going to be for organ transplant. Will these clones be brought into existence only to provide organs for people already here? Then at that point, we will not only be killing the unborn, but bringing humans, clones, into existence to be killed as well. Something to think about.

Are there really any denominations who accept human cloning?
I dont think so.

I would say even religions other than christianity, i dont think they accept, maybe some new age or alike.

Raelians does, that we know for sure, but those can not be counted as a religion, they fit more into the cathegory of dimwhimps.

Q. What is the Synod’s position on cloning, whether of an animal or of human beings?
A. At its 1998 convention, the Synod adopted a resolution in which it “reject[ed] without reservation as contrary to God’s Word any technique or method of human cloning that results in the destruction of human embryos or the creation of human embryos for the purposes of fetal tissue research or organ harvesting or transplantation.” In the same resolution, the Synod asked its Commission on Theology and Church Relations (CTCR) to prepare a report “to help the church, on the basis of the Word of God, make informed ethical judgments concerning cloning and attendant issues.”
Jimmy, if you’re still visiting CAF, send me a PM and let me know how you’re doing.
Jon
