Where is the most beautiful place that you have prayed? I prayed the Rosary this morning in the middle of the Rocky Mountains west of Buena Vista in Colorado as the sun was coming up over the mountains. What a moving site.

Wow! sounds beautiful!

Anywhere I pray is beautiful.

Besides in front of the Blessed Sacrament …

I do remember praying at Our Sorrowful Mother Ministry in Vandalia, IL in the garden in front of a crucifix. Around the crucifix were rocks, I remember putting my cares, woes, stressors at the foot of the cross by picking up a rock and putting it at the foot of the cross. Pretty awesome. :gopray2:

There are some pretty spectacular bits of nature here in Australia, which have lifted my mind and heart to God.

I’ve got to say, though, that it’s the prayer that makes the place beautiful and not the other way around. I’ve prayed in bed, in the shower, on the can (St Teresa of Avila reportedly used to do the same), in the street, in the office, and of course plenty in church. All beautiful places to do so. 😉

St. Boniface in Pittsburgh, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany. I’ve been to each only once and each was a huge experience for me, literally changing my life.

The most beautiful place I’ve prayed is at the various altars at the Basilica National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. It is very inspiring and breathtaking. I can’t wait 2g2 the other shrines in America, Rome, Jerusalem and other various places where Our Lord is worshiped.
