Okay, I think I"m going nuts here over this 😛 :whacky:
Because I can’t seem to find it…

But doesn’t it say somewhere in the Bible that king David went into a room
and closed the doors and windows and prayed?!..

Does anyone knows if this is correct and where it is in the Bible??

Thank you!

2 Samuel 7:18-29
And David went in, and sat before the Lord, and said: Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far? …
Or when King David established ithe tabernacle Jerusalem 1 Chronicles 16:1–37?

I knew the verse from Samuel, but dont’ think it’s that one, thought there was a different part somewhere…

2 Sam. 12:16. David pleaded with God on behalf of the child. He kept a total fast, and spent the night lying on the ground clothed in sackcloth. 17. The elders of his house stood beside him to get him to rise from the ground; but he would not, nor would he take food with them.
Could this be the one?

I would check commentaries for Matt 6:6

It’s so similar to what you are looking for, that if there was an Old Testament parallel I’m sure it would get a mention.
