But then why let a man existe, not to sound to harsh. why create the human brain to have the ability to think of such things

Maybe because God wanted something more than automatons, or as I call them, animals. All human misery, at least the way I and the church see it, is the result of human choice. We got what we asked for in disobeying God in the first place. Our first parents told God that they didn’t want what He created for them. So, this world is what we got, the good and the bad.

Well don’t you think that’s a bit unfair the fact we have to suffer for sin that we didn’t do

Well, I believe the Genesis story, Adam and Eve, and the Garden of Eden is allegorical. But that is a whole different kettle of fish. It is a elemental explanation for something vastly more complicated. Let’s agree not to go there.

I am old, but not that old. 🤣
I have never seen you either does this mean you are not real?

True you don’t know if I exist or not but that’s for you to decide

Just a note: I have no idea if Teacher is Catholic or not. Teacher sounds more like a Fundamentalist to me and is attempting to damage or undermine the Catholic Church. I do wonder about the intent of Teacher as Teacher always has an argument about scripture and the meaning of the same. Also, most of Teachers convictions come from the O. T. which is OK but didn’t Jesus say he did not come to replace the O.T, but to 'enhance or improve the O. T.?

Well I used to be Christian but decided to drop it and look ,reading through the Bible and all God is very two sided on one hand he created us to have free will but then intervenes when some one doesn’t do as he wish I’m referring to the plagues but now in modern civilization he is no were to been seen or hasn’t intervened with any like I said previously about the Holocaust it just seems odd to me that he would do things inside the bible but in the real world there is nothing. When it comes to his own 10 commandments I’m pretty sure he goes against he’s own word.

As you have read the Bible and are well versed in Scripture you will also be aware that many narratives are allegories, a lot of the O. T. Is considered poetry and parts are written to help us understand the essence of God… The plague could very well have been a natural invasion of illness-viruses for which there was no cure or knowledge of. Therefore it was recorded and written in such a way the people could adhere to. The parting of the Red Sea could have been a phenomenon of nature gone wild at just the right time. History indicates that that area of the Red Sea was a marshland and the Jews were able to escape the Pharoah’s army. God was known to the Egyptians as well. The pharaoh knew of God when he enslaved the Jews and Moses entreated him to “Let my People Go” any number of times and that he would be punished if he didn’t. The Pharoah defied God for the sake of power. greater, younger Pharaoh tried to introduce a one true God to the Egyptians before the O. T. was recorded. Was it annanokin? I don’t remember or how to spell it. I am just glossing over some of the stories of the O. T. You might try to find a book on the Theology of The Old Testament-mine is from college years ago-and expand your view. This is all I will write on the subject. because I’m busy.

Teacher cannot reconcile that God created All of Nature but does not hang around to see which way the wind blows or the waters flow. He gave mankind the intelligence to figure that out.
Also, it is we who are fallible and take each and every word and translation as being without flaw. This is a form of arrogance and vanity, not spirituality. I promised myself that I would make kinder, more gentle replies, but I am getting near the edge of the cliff. It isn’t just one word-Lord-that you argue against. It is just about every word or revelation. May peace and the Real Spirit descend upon you.

So if you say God created all life and nature and is now not around then Jesus was not God at all correct.
