I have been divorced now for some 10 years and am trying hard to be a better Catholic. Can you tell me where in the Bible that it says that a single person cannot have sexual relations unless they are married???. Please help. Thank you… Bill

Hi,

"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God “with your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

"But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is “better to marry than to burn with passion.” (1 Corinthians 7:8-9)

“But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.” (Hebrews 13:4)

There are more, but I think you get the idea. Also, check this out:
