Where is the passage: how we should learn the Bible...?

There’s a passage, I forget where it is, on how we should familiarize ourselves with the Bible so that we can share it or defend it when others ask.

Anyone know which one this is?

(Not Ephesians 6 where it talks about arming ourselves vs. the devil…which is good!..but not what I’m looking for right this second.)
 
I suggest you read the pastorial letters of Tim, Titus.

simply do a word search on teach in any bible.
 
Peter says that we should always be ready to defend our hope (1 Peter 3:15).
