Hi All:

Where on the net can I get a really good holy water bottle? Can anyone provide a link? My thanks to anyone who can in advance.

I don’t know what you mean by a “good” holy water bottle. My parish has bottles of holy water in the ofice for free (you can give a small donation). The bottle is plastic, a screw on top with a pull up pour spout. A Google search for “holy water bottle” will return lots of choices. your local religious goods store will have a selection, too, I’m sure.

i have one of these, it has lasted about 30 years. i guess that’s good enough for me.

By “really good” are you wanting something in glass? I’ve only seen (and own) the plastic bottles, with a little gold cross printed on the front. Maybe something fancier does exist, but I’ve never come across it.

I ordered mine from Leaflet Missal Company in Minnestoa. I think they cost about $1.50 I think you can store Holy Water in any container as long as its marked as being such. I even heard of people filling 1 gallon milk jugs and having the priest bless them. That would last a very long time.

You should be able to buy a really nice little glass medicine bottle with a good screw cap in any drug store for about 50 cents.

I’ve just got to tell you all the “coolest” thing that I have ever seen. At the convent in Hanceville AL, they have a gift shop which you can purchase the small plastic bottles that say “holy Water”. Then, they have a building that has the nativity scene inside. The first time I visited, I just sat there and looked around, decided to do a little praying, they have little plastic rosaries just in case you need one and then…over to the side there was a water facet, just like an outside spicket (sp) …above it “Holy Water”…right there, just turn on the facet…COOL! If I get any of this, where do I keep it in my home? Can I start crossing my front and back doors…cross my children at bedtime, etc. Is this acceptable? Romano, I’m not meaning to change the subject! LOL!

I would also like to suggest the Leaflet Missal company. I think they have a web site, but I can’t remember right off. They have several different Holy Water bottles available. I think they may have one that is glass. The plastic ones are in several different sizes.
