It is not voodoo. God Almighty is the all powerful God. He raised Jesus Christ from the dead. That was not voodoo. If someone believes that Jesus Christ’s Resurrection was/is voodoo I would highly suggest the people take a refresher course in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Also get regular salt and ask a Catholic priest to bless the salt. Put the blessed salt on the lintels of front and back doors and on window sills. Blessed salt will be as if you put lambs blood on your door posts and windows; blessed salt will keep Satan and his evil spirits away from your home. The reason why it could be plausible could be found in the Old Testament. IF you believe that God doesn’t change. The same thing happened in Egypt. Those innocent first born male children were killed because the family did not put blood on the door way of the house. Kinda sounds like voodoo?
One reason why it could not be plausible (I’m sure there are others) is: how would you light it? All light will not be seen. Striking a match (which is not a beeswax candle). . you would never know if it was lit or not.
Also, when you buy candles get matches at the same time and have them blessed by a priest. When the 3 days of darkness comes your matches will light and you can light your blessed candles. Only blessed candles will light in the homes of God’s elect. Candles in the homes of the wicked will not light. All light from the moon and stars will disappear, the only light that God will allow is the blessed candles in the homes of His elect. And everyone who lives in the homes of the elect need to gather together around the blessed lit candle and pray unceasingly through the three days of the Plague of the Darkness.
This is some of the information that I have read and I wanted to pass it on.
