I usually wear one around my neck because of Our Lady’s message of Fatima but lately I’ve been going to a lot of things with formal or business attire and wearing a tie makes it hard to get access to so I’ve been keeping it in my pocket in a little case. Plus I’m trying to get enrolled in the scapular soon and it might seem to be an inconvinirnce to wear both at the same time. The rosary is a powerful weapon.

Young person wanting to be active in holy mother church you are in my prayers as well. You seem to have quite the gift of discernment at a young age. It was not so easy for me. Remember The Lord knows your heart.
Greetings PaladinSword,

Out of curiosity what was our Lady’s message in Fatima concerning wearing a Rosary around the neck?

God Bless.

I carry my beads in my pocket when I’m out and about and sit them with my missals and books etc., in my prayer space next to my bed at night and the like. I have my spare beads hanging on a hook next to me as well. Like those wee hooks people use for car-keys.

I currently have one in my pocket. I also try to keep one in any bag I’m carrying with me.

I have many rosaries that I keep in a drawer in my bedroom. Of these rosaries there is one that is a cord rosary with plastic beads that can really take a beating. Especially when I sleep with it at night whenever I am feeling down or suffering from spiritual dryness where I can´t even pray.

The rosary that I pray with daily is a corded wooden bead rosary which I keep in a rosary pouch that has Our Lady of Perpetual Help on one side and Christ on the other. The pouch is embroidered and inside it is lined with a satin-like material. I’ve attached an image of it below and you can purchase it at Amazon where they have others available with St. Michael the Archangel and Our Lady of Guadalupe…

I can’t quote it exactly at the moment but she warned us about the devil and to pray the rosary often and even to wear it about your neck so when he comes and you flee you’ll have your armor on. She said something like wearing your rosary is armor against the devil. I’m sure you can find the quote online somewhere. I used this many times to oppose some other Catholics attempting to say that wearing a rosary is innapropriate. I told one of them about Fatima and he said. I don’t give a blank about Fatima. It was hard to hear.

Hope this helps

cheers.

Greetings PaladinSword,

It was just that it was the first time that I had heard of such a thing. I know that Fatima is an accepted revelation of the Church or that it is approved. I am so sorry that you heard that from the other fellow Catholic. I am sure that grived Our Lady as well.

Thanks for broadening my horizons there. I have never worn my rosary as a necklace but don’t see anything wrong with it either.

Thank you for responding.

God Bless.

I have a small pouch/carrying case thing for my rosary, and I keep one in my purse. I do have one at home in a ceramic case made by a neighbor lady years ago that is in my living room that contains the rosary I got for my first Communion. I also have a small box with a rosary in my car too.

On my desk. I don’t take it anywhere else unless I am specifically going somewhere to pray with it.

I put my Rosary, in my Pock it, because I beleive I will always be protected, by OUR LADY.Also when I ,am walking I take it out to pray it,and too let people see I,am devoted to the Rosary of the Blessed Mother. I also wear it around my hand in bed a night, so I,am
protected from the Devil, I feel more at peace, for their to much Evil jn this world. Always turn to Jesus Mother, for Jesus LOVES us when we show LOVE too her.

My rosaries needed constant fixing when I kept them in my pocket and I never cared for wearing it. I’m now using a nice rosary ring that I consistently wear. It has taken care of ‘where to put your rosary?’ issue. 😃

you don’t need to be Catholic to have a rosary blessed.
We as Cathoilce, have always had our Holy medals Blessed, and Rosarys Blessed, because we feel better when thier Blessed, and I have seen a Priest at Church
Blessed them, Rosary and Medals. But, I know that OUR LADY, wants us to be devoted to the Rosary, and I know that they don,t have to be Blessed, but we do it. All we must do.
is say it, for it is the salvation for Peace and our Souls. GOD BLESS

I have rosaries all over the house, in little pouches inside my purse, big wall rosaries in 2 rooms, knotted cord or glow in the dark under my pillow, an extra in my nightstand.

thank you for the prayers, God bless you

I’m sorry to hear that, also. I don’t know if this will be any comfort to you but I know someone your age in the same situation. I will pray for you.

Hi I was wondering where do you out your rosary on the day and the night ?
I hear some people keep it in there pocket or around there neck in the day ( I’m at skl do I dunno what to do ?) and at night i hear people put it under there pillow (why?) or somewhere in there bedroom ? What do you do ? I dunno what to do ? Can anyone help me out ? Thanks chuck
I have 13 rosaries and I keep them hanging on my walls from nails or from pictures of Mary, Divine Mercy (chaplet of divine mercy hangs off of that :)), and St. Therese of Lisieux. I sleep with a knotted rosary and during the day keep it in my backpack. I carry one always in my pocket.

My mom’s SDA and she can barely stand me being Catholic. Praise God I alternate weeks with my parents.

I’ll pray for you, I know it’s sooo hard.
