Where to start with Scott Hahn Books?

I want to read ALL of Hahns books, but I dont know where to start. Where should I start and is there a good order to follow?

I would start with “Rome Sweet Home” since it’s the story if his (and his wife’s) conversion to Catholicism.

The only other one I’ve read is “Hail, Holy Queen,” which was excellent. I intend to read more of his books, but right now (due to financial constraints) I’m limited to what I can get via my local library and Interlibrary Loan.

I’ve read them all, and this is the order I would recommend, in order of rising complexity and one building upon the others:

Rome Sweet Home
A Father Who Keeps His Promises
Scripture Matters
Understanding The Our Father
The Lamb’s Supper
Hail, Holy Queen
Swear To God
Letter & Spirit

All of his books are good but I really enjoyed: Rome Sweet Home, The Lambs Supper (my favorite and a must read several times) and Hail, Holy Queen. God Bless

Scott Hahn is the best!!! (well ok almost - Christ, Mary and some others go before him

I’ve read many of his books - some that the one who said “i’ve read them all” didn’t even include on the list - so here’s my suggestion:

Rome Sweet Home (on his conversion)
The Lamb’s Supper (on the Mass and the book of Revelation)
First Comes Love (on the Trinity, the Family, etc.)
Hail, Holy Queen (on Mary)
Lord, Have Mercy (on confession)
A Father Who Keeps His Promises (on salvation history)
Swear to God (on the Sacraments)
Understanding Our Father (on the Lord’s Prayer)

I would also higly recommend Scott’s wife’s book “Life-Giving Love” (on marriage, sexual and moral issues)

I can’t really recommend what order to read them in but it’s a good start with Rome Sweet Home. That was the first book by him I read and it was very good. Currently I’m reading on-and-off A Father Who Keeps His Promises and it’s also very good.

Here’s the “definitive” list of Dr. Hahn’s books. That website also has online classes prepared by Dr. Hahn that are also very good. It’s well worth the time to read his writing!

I would also would recommend “Rome sweet Home” first.
Then “A Father who keeps his promises” because in this book Scott gives his Catholic biblical theology which the rest of his books are based upon. ( The covenants God made with man,and how God expanded each one)
On his website, SalvationHistory.com He has online studies which include many of his books, so if you really want to go deep into his works you can do that on this site
As for audio series that cover his books EWTN radio archives have several series that Scott hosted which cover his books (just type in his name in the series search box), of those, I really liked “Our Fathers Plan”, and “The Lambs Supper”.
