My sixth grade religion class posed this question “Where was St. Joseph at the Crucifixion?” I know he was dead but could you give me any additional information?
There is none. For that matter, we don’t even know for certain that St. Joseph was dead at that point. It is assumed that he died before Jesus’ public ministry began because he “disappears” from the narrative after the finding of the child Jesus in the Temple, but we don’t know for certain because Scripture doesn’t tell us.
