Where'd the Bible come from?

Historically, you can easily see, the Catholic church, once it decided in 300- 400 AD (Someone help me with the date!) has the same Bible today as then. It wasn’t until Luther came along that any books of the Bible that had been considered inspired word of God were taken out of the Bible.
The Canon (complete list) of Scripture was declared with the current list of 27 books at the Council of Hippo in 393 A.D. and reaffirmed by the canon 47 of Third Council of Carthage (397 A.D.). **

Even Protestants have to admit they trusted the Church on this, by using these same books in the Protestant Bible! **

The author: The Holy Spirit (God) is its author, with the Church as His instrument.
