Which are the best colleges or seminaries (those that are completely faithful the the Magisterium) for a theology curriculum in So. Cal.?

I have no experience or much knowledge of them, but I’m guessing JP Catholic in San Diego?

JPUSC you are right.
JP Catholic in San Diego is the best school to study theology.

That really depends on what you want to study. Systematic theology? Moral theology? Scripture? Liturgy? Canon Law? etc. You should consider Catholic University in Washington, DC, which has a full range of programs and is doctrinally sound. Also, a number of Catholic seminaries offer programs of study to lay students. Given the fact that you posted in the “Traditional Catholicism” forum, I’m guessing you wouldn’t be as interested in some of the other large theology departments: Notre Dame, Boston College, etc.

I would think the DSPT (Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology) which is attached to Berkley would have pretty good standing with the Magisterium. Although it’s a bit out of So.Cal (dspt.edu/)

How does Christendom College compare?
Very good school, but it is very small. My son is in high school and will be attending a summer program there this summer so we went to visit in April.

Thomas Aquinas College is in Santa Clara and is highly regarded.
