I frequently hear the term “evangelical” on Catholic Answers referring to protestant denominations. Which denominations are those? Thanks!
 
The term can have different meanings depending on who’s using it.

When Catholics use the term “Evangelical denominations” they are normally referring to Christian communities that do not have their origin in the Protestant Reformation.
