I am not contesting this and neither am i discussing this point. In fact, i agree that Jesus (pbuh) was a revelation of God, in much the same way all true Prophets (pbut) are revelations of God.

But according to the verses you quoted, some additional revelation was given to Christ (in addition to being a revelation himself).

It is this additional revelation, which i am trying to ascertain to be the same revelation which is understood by Muslims to have been revealed by God to Jesus (pbuh).
I think I understand what you are asking, but it is not way Christians would approach the subject. Those teachings were just an integral part of his mission as a whole, which culminated with his death and resurrection. Things, in other words, that you Muslims reject. Take away the Incarnation and the Paschal mysteries and all you have left of the teachings of Christ is like a few dead dry leaves rather than the Tree of Life.

Certainly in no case would we say that any part of Christ’s revelation was “in addition” to himself. As we have said Christ Himself is the first and final Word of God. There is no extra revelation to add to Him. Instead all other revelation points to or describes Him.
