Whether you buy them at the newsstand or subscribe to them, let others know what Catholic publications you buy. Choose as many as apply and let us know if there is one not on the list.😉

catholic digest. they are very reasonable for a subscription, also every year around christmas if you renew they allow two additional free subscriptions you can give to family and friends for a nice present. there are many helpful articles in this publication.

At the moment, just OUR SUNDAY VISITOR. Maybe more later when time and money allow

We receive Magnificat, Magnifikid (for son), National Catholic Register and Faith and Family.

if you mean by the Catholic Faith the magazine started by Fr. John Hardon I received a notice some time ago that it has ceased publication and the balance of my subscription was actually Catholic World Report, which I still receive as well. Also the Sower, a magazine for catechists published in England, far superior to anything available in US. At the parish I have at least a dozen more regular publications. Personally my favorites are Liguorian & NCRegister. Crisis is a bit to hysterical for my taste. Also Lay Witness from CUF and others that come because of membership in some organization.

sofar only the National Catholic Register. It’s a great paper and I like the articles and sections. In the future i may consider others as well.

In addition to Our Sunday Visitor,
I read
The Catholic Answer
Catholic Digest
This Rock
The Wanderer

I also like the National Catholic Register, but can’t afford to subscribe right now.

I’ve been a subscriber to New Oxford Review for about 10 yrs.
I just recently got an online subscr. too.

If it weren’t for reading NOR, I wouldn’t have known to criticize the showing of a video featuring Sr. Joan Chittister, a well-known dissenter at a women’s mini-retreat at our parish recently. Her keynote address to LCWR was shown; neither our priest, or our school principal seemed to be aware of her agenda; the video was not previewed (except by me and our PA). 🤷 Our Pastoral Assoc. (a Franciscan) said some members of her community thought it was good. Also, see my post on details of this incident under Evangelization.

NOR also has a bunch of nifty stuff; I have a tote bag with a red convertible pic on it that says Turbo Charged Catholic over it. They have everything from t shirts to mouse pads with various saying on them.👍

I like This Rock, but read it online. I have enough reading material in print coming into my home and it takes time to sort through it every wk.

I used to read Catholic Digest, but it’s pretty light. I’d rather have something a bit more meaty to read.

I also used to get Catholic Parent, but never bought a subscription; maybe someone gifted it to me without my knowing about it. It’s okay.

Blessed Lent,
Mimi

Catholic Digest
Ligourian
Faith and Family
This Rock
Catechist magazine
Tidings ( Los Angeles Archdiocese newspaper)
Catholic Updates
Magnificat
Word Among Us

That’s it for now. I have too many books to read.😃

The Michigan Catholic (weekly newspaper of the Archdiocese of Detroit)

Anyone familiar with Catholic World News? I think it is published by Ignatius Press. I received a sample version in the mail and I was wondering if it is authentic in its Catholic POV and info.

I refer to their website quite often and find the information to be very credible and usually contains the same stories on Zenit and other good sources.

My wife ordered Catholic Digest for me. Sorry, but it puts me to sleep.
