Which daily devotional magazine do you like?

hm i scanned it. it’s still kinda iffy to me. is it not right to support the Word Among Us then? are any of these publications supported or endorsed in any way by the Church? “impramatur” of any sorts? how can we be sure we’re safe?

The money making magazine is still under the control of the Difatos…as you can see from this link. They do not tell the truth of how the magazine got started nor does anyone realize that this is not a Church supported group.

I do not know the current status of the imprimatur. But in 1995 Cardinal Hickey did not renew it. It is still ‘officially’ published
in the archdiocese…with a supposed office in Ijamsville. Jeff Smith, the current ‘president’ is also mentioned in this article excerpt from an article in the National Catholic Reporter by Arthur Jones.
When, subsequently, the Difatos and their leadership team broke away from the Mother of God community to continue on as their own community, they took The Word Among Us with them. As 1995 ended, Hickey did not renew the publication’s imprimatur as an official Catholic publication. It is still published in the archdiocese.

Has anyone tried Living Faith Daily Catholic Devotionals? It is a very good magazine with meditations based on a daily scripture reading, and also has prayers listed in the back. And it has an imprimatur.
