When i was a non-Christian, i found the Book of Revelations very poetic…grim, but poetic. Now as a Catholic, i have begun to understand it better. Except unlike Protestants, i do not take Revelations as some sort of Ouija book, waiting for a gate to another world to open.

I have read the Qur’an also. Do i find it weird? Sometimes. I also feel whoever tailored it should have also had it patented/copyrighted.

This would have protected the accusations of plagiarism.😃

Additionally, Islam teaches that God almighty DECEIVED Jews through a supposed miracle of illusion to save Jesus from the cross. The God of truth and righteousness never deceives people!

so the point is Jesus (p) is NOT God if he died already or will die. Eternal God can not die. God does not have any beginning or end.

“The uncreated and eternal WORD took flesh and dwellt among us”. Jesus is true God and true man. His divine personality lives forever although He DID die as a result of His human nature and body that He took from the Virgin.

John 2:18-21
The Jews, therefore, answered, and said to him: What sign dost thou show unto us, seeing thou dost these things? Jesus answered and said to them: Destroy this temple; and in three days I will raise it up. The Jews then said: Six and forty years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days? But he spoke of the temple of his body.

This verse explains that Jesus, as God, will build His own body (rise) on the third day of His death.

Hehe 😃 .my brother you are correct.God never deceives people,but allah did it;) .so it is Clear that Allah is not God.and if Allah is God then God is a deceiver:eek: .
May God(Jesus) save us from all false,fictitious and deceiver gods:amen:

I dont think Muslims like confronting the truth about Islam, they live in their own little world of what they think Islam is, they avoid the truth.

🙂 Yes you are correct.They do not accept any criticism about islam,but they always bash other religion.actually muslims believe that they have this right to bash every religion because their religion is only truth and except it(islam),all religion is illicit.So they will bash non muslims,but if non muslims will say even a word against islam,then they will show their ferocity.You know about the denish cartoon about muhammed.Almost all muslims were violent against this cartoon,even so called moderate and liberal mulims were also became violent that time.

Muslims always bash Christianity and Judaism whenever they recite their scripture. 😉

Your post here actually amused me for a few reasons… here are some:

What you find to be a snide remark is taken by many to be a joke or a bizarre attempt at humor. Laughing is much more enjoyable than screaming.

Also, it’s really amazing to me that you think I’ve been brainwashed by a “gentler, kinder American revisionist version of Islam.” I’m pretty sure some folks on this forum think I’m radical. Some call me Wahhabi, or Salafi, or fundamentalist. Labels, labels. Trust me, I like studying Islam in the purest form I can find, and there is nothing revisionist or American about that. My favorite scholars are from the middle east–many studied in Saudi Arabia (whoaaaa, wahhabi stronghold lol) and I hope to study there myself.

What I would say, though, is that YOU have been brainwashed to believe that there is some evil Islam out there in Unnamed MidEastern World (UMW), and that American Muslims are either ignorant of it or trying to revise it… and anyone who supports it is a radical. But I would tell you that there’s really only one Islam. One Qur’an. And I invite you to study it. For real. And don’t settle for what Robert Spencer or Daniel Pipes tell you about it either. Dig deeper.
