Which denomination is in heaven?

You need to get a hobby, no offense, well actually, offense, cause I don’t like you.

wait wait wait. I had people tell me early I am not a Heretic, my sig use to have that btw. I am not a heretic, cause they told me that I’d have to be a ex-Catholic to be a heretic.

Please tell me if your right or they are, lost me. 🤷

martin luther was a heretic and all other protestants that followed,so many protestant religions…strewn about like dust in the wind, not much into theology are you, maybe you should study and maybe you will be better informed in world religions?

Nope.But it’s a logical opinion if you believe as I do that the Catholic Church was started by Christ Himself.Oh and by the way I think it’s against forum rules to call anyone a PRICK!:rolleyes:

well yes…I assume all caths believe the church is holy and apostolic however your other points are not found in the catechism to the best of my knowledge…no salvation outside the church? I think that is non negotiable.

Well, the whole Protestant Revolt was an unfortunate ordeal, for both the Church and the various sects which broke off from her. Truth is, although I do not think it’s ever justifiable to break from Christ’s protected and holy Church which he preserves from the Gates of Hell, it’s understandable that people like Luther would be discouraged at that horrible time in history. Clergy and laity were lax, and some even lived in open sin. But Christ’s Church has survived throughout time, and will continue to do so. The Barque of St. Peter shall not sink. Protestants would do well to reëxamine Christ’s Church and His promises to her.

And, St. Calixtus, you’re being too hard on the Protestants. Please, people are almost always sincere about their religion, even if we conclude they are sincerely wrong.
 
Well from the “apocalypse” those in white garments, Saints, Martyrs, Virgin men, Priests and angels celebrate the (Universal) Catholic Mass which has the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” with the body of Jesus Christ on earth in his Catholic church, which prepares the living to celebrate the eternal worship to God in Mass ( “on earth as it is in heaven”) along with the “Communion of Saints” in heaven.

So if you celebrate, worship God in the Mass (last supper) Jesus instituted in his Catholic church to worship his “presence” in the Mass, as Jesus commanded his church to “do this in rememberance of me” you are celebrating the liturgy of the word,and of the body, blood of Jesus Christ in his Eucharist along with the heaven’s.

So if you wake up on the otherside in a moment of eternity, All Catholics from the last 2000 years are in the same communion body of Jesus Christ, and will be able to fall right in the eternal Liturgical worship in “heaven” with the body of Jesus Christ on earth.

P.S the Catholic church is not a denomination, she is the body of Jesus Christ fully human and fully divine.

I already stated that it’s never justifiable to break with Christ’s holy and apostolic Catholic Church. (By the way, “Roman Catholic Church” is a slang term; it’s real, official name is “the Catholic Church”, or the “One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church”.)

Do you treat everybody you disagree with this way? Do you hate turnip greens and buttermilk as much as you hate protestants? I’m sure you lost a spelling bee now and then, so lighten up. You’re the reason so many ill-informed protestants bash catholics. I pray the truth sets you and those like you free.

But if you weren’t so angry and hasty, you’d actually read my post and see that we’re on the same side here.

My point is that there are no denominations in either heaven or hell. Everybody knows the full truth after judgement, no more confusion or rationalization. IMO, that truth is most fully expressed in the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church. If I didn’t have that opinion, I wouldn’t be here.

How is he not a heretic? Sola scriptura, sola fide, views on the Eucharist, universal priesthood, etc. And Luther an unquestionable hero? He was a rabid anti semite. Personally, I don’t view that as a trait of an unquestionable hero.
