Which denominations have invalid baptism?

I only know of Mormons and those who don’t believe in the Holy Trinity. What other groups have invalid baptism?

Also: I doubt an Arian priest would use a triune formula. Does it make Emp. Constantine’s baptism potentially invalid?

Next: What if they don’t believe in the Holy Trinity but mention all the persons? Does it count that their church differs too much from us?

I would only add to the list that there are many Baptist sects, some of which do not require baptism at all (oddly enough) and some of which do not have all the requirements of matter, form and intention. It is necessary to interview a Baptist who is asking for full communion with the Catholic church (or anyone else, particularly those from a denomination where adult baptism is the norm) to determine if they were in fact ever baptized at all, or baptized validly, and get some kind of proof. Many lifelong adherents of such denominations never actually got around to baptism.

It would be best to say that those listed as having valid Baptism, COULD have valid Baptism. Adventist and Disciples have in some instances been found to be invalid. The problem is that most are independent and may not follow the ritual of the demonination who’s name they are known by. As the RCIA states each Baptism should be investigated and it should be determined on a case by case basis if the Baptism is indeed valid.

Correct me if I’m wrong, any sect can rightfully Baptize a person as long as it is in the name of the “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (modernly, Spirt).” Baptimisms in the name of the “Creator, Reedmer, and Liberator” or whatever else they say, are invalid even if they were made from a Catholic priest.

The Pentecostal Churches have invalid baptism?

Aren’t these the Holy Rollers, the Bible Thumpers, the Snake Handlers? The people that claim they follow the bible word for word?

Why wouldn’t they follow the words of our Lord when it comes to baptism?

Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost." --Matt. 28:18-19

Or am I getting my Protestant sects confused?

The UNITED Pentecostals have invalid baptisms, as well as “apostolic”, “Jesus’ Name” Pentecostals.

That is because they do not baptise in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but in “Jesus’ Name” only.

The Assemblies of God do have valid baptisms.
