Which ICON do you like better?

I think that I would get the Pantocrator. Its less busy. Both are neat.

I have a question for anyone who can answer: I have a Pantocrator icon. Can anyone tell me what’s written in the book / Bible Jesus is holding?
 
They are both wonderful…I guess I might be in the minority, but the second one shone like a jewel…The colors were splendid…I would buy that first

You would have to provide a picture. It could be any number of things.
 
They are both beautiful. I’d probably get the Crucifixion icon, unless you already have a crucifix or smilar picture and don’t have a Pantocrator.

This is true and some Pantockrator ikons have Evangile closed and not open. Most famous one in Ukraine has following citatsia:
Евангелия от Матфея (11, 28-29): *“Придите ко Мне все труждающиеся и обремененные, и Я успокою вас; возьмите иго Мое на себя и научитесь от Меня, ибо Я кроток <и смирен сердцем, и найдете покой душам вашим>”

Mathew 11:28-29: Enter to me all working people and all burdened people and I will pacify you. Take my burden on yourself and learn from Me for I am humble and peaceful with the heart and you will find rest to your souls.

“Christ the Teacher” as I understand it. Christ is portrayed holing the Gospels in one hand and blessing us (I beleive) with the other.

Usually on the pantokratwr is " I am the light of the world, he who follows me shall not walk in the darkness but will receive the Light of Life"

PANTOCRATOR means “*Ruler of All” *and usually shows Jesus as a half-figure holding either an open Book of the Gospels or a closed Book of the Gospels.
