go ahead and pray for me. although i think there are more important things to pray for.
You will remain in my prayers Windy. If you want to know whether there is a God, you must seek him. If you truly seek him. You will find him.

u think it’s never happened?

sounds like you’re saying god communication to people is irrational? like a burning bush?
I certainly believe that God communicates with people. 🙂
it’s only rational when it
fits your idea of right and wrong right?
Actually, it’s only God speaking to you, if He is not contradicting Himself, since God cannot tell one person one thing (Moses, for example) and then tell someone else the complete opposite.

What this means is that if something is telling you something that is opposite to what we find in the Bible or in the teachings of the Church, then it actually isn’t God that is speaking to you - it could be a demon, or it could just be your own vivid imagination.

or could it just be the bible can be interpreted in
all sorts of fashion?

Windy, I hate to tell you, but if you think you are coming across as an informed intellectual, nothing could be further than the truth. All your responses are nothing but cliches but no substance. You have set yourself up as the sole arbiter of what is truth, not only for yourself, but for everyone else. You are dismissive of any response given you and cling to your own interpretation of whatever it is you are trying to interpret. This reflects a deep seated pride. Proceed cautiously.

informed intellectual? pride?
i’m agnostic remember? i DON’T know.
i don’t tell people i am right and you are wrong.
all i’ve done here is ask questions and try
to show you guys a different perspective.

At the end of our lives, either we will say to Him, “Your will be done,” or else He will say to us, “Your will be done.” If we have chosen His way, then we will go to Heaven, but if we have chosen our own way, then we will go to Hell - Hell can be likened to eternal selfishness.
👍 👍 👍

how do you apply logic to religion?
where someone can turn rocks into bread
and water into wine?
Well, you might do well to start by applying logic to the abortion question. The connection between faith and reason might kick in for you at some point down the line.

That’s “materialism,” not “logic.” 😉

And apparently, the answer is “no,” you have never made any kind of a study of Logic.

Your prespective is not “different.” It is the shopworn, hackneyed, Mixmaster thinking applied by the abortion movement. The endpoint is only the supposed “right” for a woman to have a trained medical professiona kill her baby.

consequences for the poor who can’t afford expensive lawyers
you mean?
Now don’t get me going on lawyers. Actually, you’d probably make a good lawyer in today’s court system. I don’t think I can afford to go another round with you though. So I’m gonna beg out from answering anymore of your posts, cuz I’m chicken.

Peace

P.S. I’ll pray for you. I know you don’t like it because it makes you shake the bed, spin your head around a few times and spit pea soup.😃 , but I’ll pray for you anyway.

There is nothing “different” about your perspective.

I can turn my TV set to just about any channel during any afternoon of the week, and hear exactly the same clichés that you are presenting here.

yes, i know that’s how you see all non-believers of your
faith and ideology. we’re all scary monsters. worthy
of pitchfork and fire torches in the night. when
you’re strong enough to step out of your cocoon
to see people as they are, people who just want to
survive and find happiness in this special thing called life,
when you can step down from your religious thrown of holiness
and condemnation of others and be among the leppers
like the rest of us, maybe then you will understand
the teachings of jesus.

don’t say you’ll pray unless you really mean it. :-]

Have you a mirror?

You know, it just occurred to me that my views about the abortion and voting can be summed up in the scene on top of the Brooklyn Bridge in the movie Spiderman.

The GOBLIN said:
“This is why only fools are heroes. Because you never know when some lunatic will come along with a sadistic choice: ‘Let die the woman you love’ or ‘Suffer the little children’.”

A man shoots a gun, he has to take responsibility. A man & woman engage in the reproductive act, the resulting baby is a “responsibility”, not a “choice”.
This was a terrible statement of mine that I would like to correct. I forgot to add to the end of the statement “for both the man & woman”.
