Is the book of Macc. the first to talk about the resurrection???

These passages allude to an after life - but not necessarily a resurrection of the body.
Ps 16:10-11 For thou dost not give me up to Sheol, or let thy godly one see the Pit. Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is fulness of joy, in thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.

Ps 49:15 But God will ransom my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me.

Ps 73:24 Thou dost guide me with thy counsel, and afterward thou wilt receive me to glory.

These passages do include a bodily resurrection and would predate any Maccabees’ passage.
Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead shall live, their bodies shall rise. O dwellers in the dust, awake and sing for joy!

Daniel 12:2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Actually by date of authorship it would be St. Paul: 1Cor. Cahpter 15.

But all the snynopic Gospels speak of it.

Mt. Ch. 28

Mk. Ch. 16

Lk. Ch. 24

And John in ch. 20

Love and prayers,

Actually, by date of authorship it would be Job (19:25-27).

I don’t know.
By the way, what passage in Maccabees says it will take place on judgement day?
