Which is your favorite Woody Allen film?

Not really a Woody Allen fan, but my favorite is Radio Days. It was nothing groundbreaking or provocative, just a really funny, funny movie.

With the usual Woody Allen touches of melancholy and nostalgia interspersed throughout, and particularly in the closing scene. There is a depressing aspect to most of Woody Allen’s movies in their confrontation with life, death, true love, loss, grief, sex, morality, and the human condition.

yes I would say he is very sensitive to and very observant of the human condition.

I would like to know what his IQ is. he seems to have a mind that never sleeps.

“Love and Death” is one I’ve watched dozens of times, and never get tired of. I’ve memorized large chunks of the dialogue by force of watching.

I forgot about that one! Yes, very funny film…and with music by Prokofiev to boot!

That’s one of the best lines! I also like it when the matronly aunt says to Boris as they’re exiting the opera “Ah, there’s something about Mozart.”

Boris: “I think it’s his music you’re reacting to.”
