This is a very simple question, but I don’t know where else to look for the answer. How should the Memorial Acclamation said at each mass get chosen? I feel that 95% of the time churches say, “Christ has died…” But I really like the others as well. Is there a method to the choice that should be followed? When I was a leader for the choir a number of years ago in college, we always sang, “Christ has died…” because we didn’t have music for the others. Of course we didn’t really look for it, and really we didn’t know any better or get instruction on what we were supposed to do. Is this the case at most churches? That the choir or priest just uses the one is most conveinent?
