Which mysteries to pray

When praying more than one Rosary a day, do you use the same mysteries for that day over and over, or do you move onto the next mysteries?

If I pray more than one Rosary and I didn’t already pray it, I usually do the Luminous Mysteries as those are, in my opinion, the easiest to meditate on.

You can move to the other mysteries… its then like meditating on the entire life and death on Our Lord and Our Lady

Yeah, you can go in order but it’s up to you. The mysteries seem to go in the following order: Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious.

Thanks so much! November is the month to pray especially for the dead, additionally my husband just passed away last Saturday November 4th, so I will be saying more than my usual one a day as I am able. . Thanks again and God Bless!

I usually pray all 15 Mysteries of the Rosary by praying the Joyful ones in the morning, the Sorrowful Mysteries in the afternoon, and the Glorious ones in the evening - something St. Louis de Montfort suggested. Sometimes, though, I pray all 15 in the morning.

I have usually stayed with the day’s mysteries, unless some extraordinary circumstance necessitated a different set of mysteries. However, you can get a Rosary CD from the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in which they pray all 20 mysteries in one setting. And, you help their growing community of joy-filled sisters in Christ.
