Which one should I choose, SSPX or Pink Sisters?

I read on the site that they wear rose colored habits to remind them of their dedication to the Holy Spirit. They wear gray habits out in public.
Yes, that’s true. I saw them, very beautiful.

Sorry, but I do not quite understand. Can you please explain for it? Thanks.
Nothing to explain. I had no business posting on this thread. I don’t know any SSPX orders and I don’t know the Pink Sisters. Sorry.

Sorry about that. Actually I am in China, English not good, and know so few things.🤷

You express so many reservations about the Pink Sisters in your post that it seems unlikely to me that you have a vocation to them. In my experience, when God calls someone to an order there is joy and clarity. Your description was full of fear and doubts.

While SSPX might not be the solution, I suggest you look for an order that is compatible with your attraction to tradition. It sounds like it is an important part of your spirituality.

What say, I found I am seeking something actually dosen’t exist now:

Pink Sisters before Vantican II.

So sad…

May be when SSPX returns to the church, and reform in the church, my dream would be realized? 😃

There are many religious communities that have the TLM. The Benedictines of Mary, Mother of the Church come to mind and I have heard only wonderful things about them. I know there is a TLM Carmel somewhere but I can’t for the life of me remember which one. There are others, I will try find them,

There is a TLM Carmelite community in Valparaiso, NE: Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. It is the only Latin Mass only Carmel in the USA that is in full union with the Church.

Correction to my earlier post, it is the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles that has the TLM. They are a beautiful community, I have many friends who have visited or discerned with them and have come back with only good things to say about them.

TLM communities may be harder to find but if you think you have a vocation then it is worth that little bit of extra effort for Christ and His Church.

Welcome, Puppy99!

I run a support group for those discerning EFLR/TLM vocations, and there are not many options. There are many priestly fraternities, but the number of women’s charisms can be counted on one hand. groups.yahoo.com/group/ecclesia_dei_vocations/

I also understand about the SSPX.

So, what’s a “Traddie” to do?

Where in China are you located? Which house of the Pink Sisters was going to receive you? I find that a curious combination.

While I understand these attractions, you could become a Traddie diocesan hermit with a plan of life with a variation on the Pink Sisters theme. China could certainly use it.

Blessings,
Cloisters

Perfect Timing, thanks for your kindness. I feel so warm on this forum.

Benedictines of Mary is in my favorite collection, and my FSSP friend even send me information about Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

The hardness for me is that I can’t get a visa to come to US. May be it’s God’s will?

As far as I know, many of our seminarian friends became seminarian only because they love LTM. But they have to study traditional theology on their own on top of their theology classes in the seminary due to the crisis in the church.

I know one seminarian who once followed SSPX, and ended up joining a Novus Ordo community. It’s because SSPX dosen’t trust “outsiders” that much. Normally when you request to join them, they will put you to test first.

Please pardon me if I say something wrong about SSPX.

I have almost decided to join Pink Sisters now, I am happy about everything with them except for the mass, but at least they have the best Novus Ordo mass I can have.

I am praying every day that SSPX will come back to the church soon, so that not long after in every order and every parish we can enjoy TLM.

Most sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Immaculate heart of Mary, pray for us!

Dear Cloisters, before I can make a decision, God made a decision for me.

In one night I broke up with my spiritual director related to diocesan mass, and followed by a cold relationship with SSPX.

I mean, suddenly I lost all the chances to attend LTM here.

Thus I can no longer become a Traddie diocesan hermit, may be I can become a Novus Ordo sister for Rome. Now I found deep peace in my heart.

I shouldn’t hesitate any more, whatever mass He gives me I will be glad to have it. Anyway, Pink Sister’s mass the best Novus Ordo mass I can have. They sing Gregorian Chants and Latin Hymns (in a modern form) in the masses.

Now I dream of becoming a postulant for Pink Sisters Philippines this month. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum!
