Which passage does God

I just saw this in a thread recently and for the life of me …can’t find it.

Which passage does God talk about giving us a new covenant? In other words what passage cancels the one below out? Would the Commandment “thou shalt not kill”? or is there something more specific? Thank you. 🙂

**They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB) **
 
Do you mean when the Eucharist was instituted by Jesus?

He change the Second great commandment…from “love your neighbor as yourself”…to this new one…love your neighbor even if it costs you everything like it cost him to love us… Calvary…his life.

Definitely Jeremiah 31:
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.

or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”

Yes. Hebrews speaks extensively of the new covenant replacing the old.

For he finds fault with them when he says: "The days will come, says the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah;
not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of the land of Egypt;
for they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I paid no heed to them, says the Lord.
This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, says the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and write them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
In speaking of a new covenant he treats the first as obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
(Hebrews 8:8-10,3)
