Which person of the Holy Trinity do you have the greatest devotion to?

I tend to pray mostly to the Father, but I feel like I am the closest to the Son. I pray to the Holy Spirit every day as well. I’m just curious about y’alls spirituality.
 
Wow. Interesting question. Like many people, I struggle with God as Father, in my case due to a distant, uncaring relationship with my earthly father. So I have benefitted greatly from teachings about the loving father heart of God, and seeing my own husband’s fathering, which is tender and wise.
I had some involvement with the JWs growing up, and so initially developed a skewed view of Christ. So I have appreciated learning about Him as fully God and fully man. The Incarnation is tremendously exciting to me, particularly some of the beautiful Orthodox teachings which really helped me when I was raising my young children.
The Holy Spirit is precious to me, having seen His guiding hand in so much of my Christian walk, always drawing me to Christ.
When I sit in Adoration, I feel the Spirit within me, filling my heart with love for Christ in the Eucharist. So I guess, with the proviso that I am totally devoted to the Trinity, reading that back, my heart belongs to Christ. But obviously, you can’t portion God out.
 
You know, God the Father was never an obstacle to me, as my earthly father died when I was a child. It honestly felt (and feels) comforting to have God as a father. Your earthly father is (unfortunately) how I see my stepfather. I was always close to my earthly father. The Holy Spirit though, I think is hardest to wrap my head around. Of course, I pray to the Holy Spirit everyday, I think maybe it may be a naming issue. After all, it’s much easier to relate to a father or a son than it is a spirit.
 
They are all God, none is above the other, we should all have equal devotion.
 
No argument here. Although, that seemed kind of like you were insulting people that don’t have the same devotion you do. I’m not here to debate.

I think we all agree or maybe not,that the Holy Trinity is the divine persons.the Father. Son and Holy Spirit, do not share the one divinity among themselves, but each of them is God whole. and entire Having said that I always lean twoard the name of Jesus when praying. I understand the mystery of faith is hard to understand but here comes our faith. God Bless
 
I think I spend most of my time in prayer with Jesus. The Holy Spirit, it seems, is rather neglected in terms of devotion, and not just in my case.

I now recall a book by (I think) an episcopalian priest, a convert to Catholicism and later a bishop, about the significance of the Holy Spirit. I need to remember to get it.
 
I think I am somewhat equal between the Father and the Son. It is the Holy Spirit that gets shortchanged. I pray a fair amount of Pater Nosters, but I also love and pray the Jesus prayer. In praying the a rosary I am most focused on Jesus. But my personal prayers are mostly directed to the Father.
 
They’re not really divisible. I probably think of Jesus the most because Jesus’ death and resurrection is THE main event of Catholicism/ Christianity, the focus of the Mass, and the thing that sets Christians apart from the other non-Christian monotheistic religions Judaism and Islam. Also, Jesus alone in the Trinity was fully human as well as fully divine, and that makes him easier to relate to. However, if I address a prayer to Jesus, or to God the Father, or to the Holy Spirit, I am not somehow excluding the other 2 persons of the Trinity, so it is not a matter of my having personal devotion to 1 person of the Trinity because they are Indivisible no matter whether I direct a prayer explicitly to 1, 2, or all 3 of them.

 To me, this has changed over the years.
  It seem that most usually Catholics revere Christ first. Then, for a time I was much in
the charismatic movement in the Catholic Church (until it died out in my area) when I developed great reverence for the Holy Spirit, as well as for Christ. Now during my theological explorations, God the Father has been most in my thoughts. Most Catholics don’t realize that worship during the mass is directed to God the Father, as the ultimate source of all the God gives us. And when an Apostle asked Jesus to show us the Father, Jesus said if you see me you see the Father. This makes me realize that all we think of as Jesus as loving is completely true of the Father too, Jesus being the image of the Father. When we see pictures of Jesus caring for men, this is a picture of the Father too. However, I expect that the fact that my thoughts turn so much to the Father is a phase in my devotion, that should be balanced with my view of Christ.
